In recent years Dr Tamsyn Murray has been instrumental in her family's free-range egg business. What started as her nine-year-old son's opportunity to make money to buy LEGO has grown to a business that delivers 15,000 to 18,000 dozen eggs across Victoria each week.
Tamsyn is now Chief Executive Officer at Josh's Rainbow Eggs, and she has used her skills and experience across the entire business, including to oversee the implementation of automation and data management in the business. She's not just a supportive mother; she's well equipped to thrive in the role, after a lifetime dedicated to higher learning across a broad range of areas.
Tamsyn has studied at universities in Canada, South Africa and Australia, specialising in psychology, neuroscience, science and agriculture. She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Western Sydney University, with her PhD focusing on agroecology and sustainable agriculture.
