As a former schoolteacher, Jess Bidgood appreciates the importance of lifelong learning. Since purchasing their first property, Tingle Hill, in 2010, Jess and husband John have participated in numerous agricultural programs and courses covering a range of topics from natural sequence farming to business development.
The Bidgood's thirst for knowledge has helped them achieve profitability and expand their operations to nearby properties. Just as important, their learning journey has helped them to continually improve the health of the lands they are custodians for.
As well as the pair being actively involved in local peer support networks, Jess has worked as a Support Manager with MaiaGrazing and is a teacher, coach and the Northern Advisory Coordinator with RCS (Resource Consulting Services) Australia.
