Anna Morrow is the Senior Program Manager for the Midwest Cover Crops Council (MCCC), which is based in United States Midwest. Anna has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in Agronomy, both from Purdue University.
In her job at MCCC, she oversees the daily work of the organization and coordinates with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to carry out the mission of MCCC. She also spends time administrating grants, as well as developing educational resources for farmers. These resources help farmers to successfully adopt cover crops while avoiding some of the common mistakes beginners make. The resources are also used to inspire growers to innovate their practices.
Outside of MCCC, Anna serves as president of the Indiana Forage Council and works on her family's small farm. The diverse operation includes cover crops and grazing livestock. She is passionate about network building, especially in her role at MCCC. She's also excited about developing graduate student programs.
If money and time were no object, Anna would like to study native species and landrace varieties of crops to evaluate them for desirable qualities, such as disease resistance and nutritional benefits.
